S.N. an Fhaithche

In the Third and Fourth class we access the curriculum through a range of methodologies and activities. We are an inclusive class with every voice heard. We are very active, keen and work through various learning styles. 

 

Active learning is an integral part of the curriculum in Third and Fourth class. We have access to several programmes including Leave no Trace Ireland, Mayo County Council Fire Safety Programme, RSA Road Safety, Explorers Sea Life Programme, Mindfulness (Gaeilge agus Béarla) and Learn Storm (Online Maths Programme).

 

We are well resourced with nine classroom laptops, iPads and an interactive whiteboard. Third and Fourth are supported by Múinteoir Caroline and Múinteoir Aoife for team teaching. Múinteoir Seosamh is the class teacher.
